2023/24 COMMITTEE

Our current committee were voted in at the AGM on 26th September 2023. They are:

Sarah Greenslade - Chair 

Sarah joined the committee in September 2019 and took over as Chair in September 2020. She has 2 boys, who both attended Comeytrowe Under Fives Preschool and a daughter who will start next year . Sarah has previously had 13 years of experience in management within NHS Recruitment/HR before becoming a full-time mum of 3.

Victoria Williams - Management Secretary

Victoria has two boys, who previously attended Comeytrowe Under Fives. She teaches at a local school and enjoys spending time with family and in the garden.  

Becky Meikle - Treasurer

Lizzie Slevin - Safeguarding Lead

Lizzie joined the committee in 2021. She has three little girls, all who previously attended the preschool and are now at primary school,. Lizzie works part time for the Government and enjoys baking and crafting in her spare time.

Emma Willmont - Staff Rep

Emma joined committee as staff rep in 2005.  She has worked at Preschool since 2009; first as an Early Years Practitioner, then Lead Practitioner for the 2yr old area, before being appointed to Assistant Manager in July 2017 and then Manager in January 2018.  Prior to that, Emma spent 9 years as a private Childminder.  She has three children who have all attended Comeytrowe Under Fives, so has been involved with Preschool for over 20 years. 

Marcia Penfold - Fundraising Lead

Marcia joined the committee in October 2023, she has over 20 years of experience of working with children. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Ed Brown - Member

Ed has only recently joined the committee following all 3 of his children attending the pre-school. Ed's youngest is in her second year and loving it. When not busy working or spending time with his family, he can be found navigating his way around the golf course or pedalling his way around the Quantock Hills.

Jess Harris - Member

Thilini Dharmasena - Member

Thilini has recently joined the committee following her youngest son attending the pre-school since September 2023. Thilini is a Sri Lankan who has recently moved to the UK with her family due to her spouse's new employment. Her eldest daughter is in her last year in primary school and as a family all of them are really impressed with the friendliness and the pleasant reception of the locals, which has helped them a lot to get adapted to their new life in the UK.
